1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using Recipe Lab, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to all of these terms, do not access or use the service. These terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Recipe Lab under the laws of the Republic of Indonesia, including Law No. 11 of 2008 on Electronic Information and Transactions (UU ITE) as amended by Law No. 19 of 2016, and Government Regulation No. 71 of 2019 on the Implementation of Electronic Systems and Transactions.
2. Eligibility & Age Requirement
You must be at least 18 years of age to use Recipe Lab. By using the service, you represent and warrant that you are 18 years of age or older and have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement. If you are under 18, you may only use the service with verifiable consent and supervision of a parent or legal guardian, who will be bound by these terms on your behalf.
3. Description of Service
Recipe Lab is a recipe cost management application that helps food and beverage businesses track recipes, ingredients, and calculate costs and profit margins. The service is provided on a subscription basis with Free and Pro tiers. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service at any time with reasonable notice.
4. User Accounts
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You must provide accurate, current, and complete information when creating an account and keep it up to date. You must notify us immediately at support@recipelab.id of any unauthorized use of your account. We will not be liable for any loss resulting from unauthorized use of your account.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to: (a) use the service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of applicable Indonesian or international law; (b) attempt to gain unauthorized access to the service, its systems, or other users' accounts; (c) interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the service; (d) upload, transmit, or distribute malicious code, viruses, or harmful content; (e) resell, sublicense, or redistribute the service without prior written authorization; (f) collect or harvest any data from the service without our written consent; (g) impersonate another person or entity.
6. Intellectual Property
The service, including its software, design, features, trademarks, and content (excluding your user data), is the intellectual property of Recipe Lab and is protected under applicable intellectual property laws of Indonesia and international treaties. You retain full ownership of all data, recipes, and content you enter into the service. You grant Recipe Lab a limited, non-exclusive license to store and process your data solely for the purpose of providing the service to you.
7. Subscription, Billing & Refunds
Paid subscriptions are billed in advance on a recurring monthly or annual basis through our payment processor (Midtrans). You may cancel at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. We do not provide refunds for partial billing periods unless required by applicable Indonesian consumer protection law (UU No. 8 Tahun 1999 tentang Perlindungan Konsumen). We reserve the right to change pricing with at least 30 days prior written notice via email. Continued use of the service after a price change constitutes acceptance of the new pricing.
8. Disclaimer of Warranties
The service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without any warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement, to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components. Cost calculations provided by the service are estimates only and should not be relied upon as professional financial or business advice.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Recipe Lab shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, revenues, data, goodwill, or other intangible losses, arising from your use of or inability to use the service. Our total aggregate liability for any claim arising under or related to these terms shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or IDR 500.000 if you are a Free tier user.
10. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access immediately for violation of these terms, non-payment, or if required by law. You may terminate your account at any time through the account settings. Upon termination, your right to use the service ceases immediately. You will have 30 days following termination to export your data by contacting support@recipelab.id, after which your data will be deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
11. Force Majeure
Recipe Lab shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performance resulting from causes beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, natural disasters, pandemics, government actions, internet service disruptions, or third-party service failures.
12. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. We will notify you of material changes at least 14 days in advance via email or in-app notification. Continued use of the service after the effective date of changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms. If you do not agree to the changes, you must stop using the service before the effective date.
13. Severability & Waiver
If any provision of these terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid under applicable law, that provision shall be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it enforceable, and the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect. Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these terms shall not constitute a waiver of that right or provision.
14. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Indonesia, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from or relating to these terms shall first be attempted to be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If unresolved within 30 days, disputes shall be submitted to the competent courts of the Republic of Indonesia, or by mutual agreement, to arbitration under the rules of the Indonesian National Arbitration Board (BANI).
